In the past few weeks we have had quite a few Jewish Holidays, starting with Rosh Hashannah, New Year, followed by Yom Kippur, Day of Atonement, and now we are celebrating Sukkot, Feast of Tabernacles, to be followed next week by Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah, the day on which the very last portion of the Torah is read in the synagogue and, in order to convey the idea that Torah study never ends, the very first portion of the Torah is read immediately after.
Now is a time of new beginnings, settling into our new house (OK, so we have been here for almost 5 months but still), settling into a new job, and really starting to enjoy it, and maybe even considering adding a new member to our family.
All in all a very positive start to the year, here's to knowing its only going to get better!!!
